The use of touchscreen-based in-vehicle information systems (IVIS) is increasing. To ensure safe driving, it is important to evaluate IVIS task performance during driving situations. Therefore, we proposed a model to assess the task completion time (TCT) of IVIS tasks while driving using a keystroke-level modeling (KLM) technique. The basic assumptions and heuristic rules of driver behaviors were considered. In addition, based on the characteristics of visual and manual IVIS interactions, we determined the basic unit operators (i.e., visual, manual, and mental operators). User experiments were conducted to determine the individual execution times of unit tasks and to measure the TCT of IVIS tasks while driving. Based on the heuristic rules for model development and individual task execution times, we derive a predictive model for the TCT of IVIS tasks. We used a regression analysis to validate the modeling procedure, showing that the observed TCT was found to have a strong positive correlation with the predicted time from the modeling process. The findings showed that the task completion time needed to perform a secondary task in a driving context can be predicted by KLM. Multiple degrees‐of‐freedom (multi‐DOF) cell orientation control is a vital important technique involved in single cell surgery applications. Currently, few studies have been performed toward automation of multi‐DOF cell orientation control using robotically controlled optical tweezers. In this paper, a robust control framework is developed to perform multi‐DOF cell rotational control with consideration of model uncertainties and external disturbances. Both simulation and experimental studies are presented to illustrate the performance of the proposed control strategy. The main contributions of this work lie in that this is the first time to develop a unified framework to achieve multi‐DOF cell orientation control without the need for accurate dynamic model parameters and/or any knowledge about uncertainty characteristic, which greatly enhances the robustness of the overall system. 相似文献

为解决无线基站宽带工作频带内电压驻波比(Voltage Standing Wave Ratio,VSWR)的实时测量,提出了一种采用信道估计法的测量方案。该方案实现简单,在基带处理单元高速率位置发送数据,依次抓取射频通道反馈和反射数据,分别求取信道响应序列,结合工厂装备测试数据,计算驻波反射系数和反射点位置。发送信号采用宽带正交频分复用信号,能检测到工作频段内任何频点处的驻波异常。有用信号前加循环前缀,并引入峰值抵消核,能正确检测到多个反射点驻波。仿真结果表明,该方案驻波测量精度和单回波点位置精度达到预期,多回波点测量能抓准外部主要故障点,在基站VSWR实时测量中具有良好的应用前景。 相似文献

针对由主站和小站信号同频混合而成的非对称成对载波多址(PCMA)信号解调问题,构建了一种实现此类信号解调的框架。参数估计是非对称PCMA通信系统在实现两路信号分离解调时不可或缺的环节,对于幅度参数估计精度问题,提出一种基于四次方法的搜索式幅度估计算法。首先建立非对称PCMA系统解调模型并作出基本假设,然后对不同假设下的相位误差进行对比并分析相位误差对幅度估计算法的影响,最后提出一种新的幅度估计算法。实验结果表明在相同信噪比(SNR)下,正态相位误差下的小站信号解调性能要劣于其均值条件下的解调性能。当误比特率(BER)在数量级为10-4时,改进算法下小站信号的解调性能提升了1 dB,说明改进算法优于四次方法。 相似文献

玻璃固化体在高放废物处置库中的长期处置行为,是处置库安全评价的关键环节之一。本研究模拟极端情形下,地下水穿透包装容器与固化体接触后,固化体中元素的浸出和蚀变行为。结果表明,地下水与固化体接触后,各元素的浸出浓度迅速增大,在200 d后逐渐下降并趋于稳定;温度对固化体中不同元素浸出速率的影响不同,B和Si的浸出速率随温度的增加而增大,U和Re的浸出速率随温度的降低而增大;固化体蚀变程度随温度的升高而加重,但其蚀变层的形成会阻滞元素在其中的扩散,客观上降低了固化体蚀变速率;富Si处置环境有利于抑制固化体中元素的浸出。 相似文献

In this letter, we address the problem of Direction of Arrival (DOA) estimation with nonuniform linear array in the context of sparse Bayesian learning (SBL) framework. The nonuniform array output is deemed as an incomplete-data observation, and a hypothetical uniform linear array output is treated as an unavailable complete-data observation. Then the Expectation-Maximization (EM) criterion is directly utilized to iteratively maximize the expected value of the complete-data log likelihood under the posterior distribution of the latent variable. The novelties of the proposed method lie in its capability of interpolating the actual received data to a virtual uniform linear array, therefore extending the achievable array aperture. Simulation results manifests the superiority of the proposed method over off-the-shelf algorithms, specially on circumstances such as low SNR, insufficient snapshots, and spatially adjacent sources. 相似文献

This paper provides a modified model reference adaptive control (MRAC) scheme to achieve better transient control performance for systems with unknown unmatched dynamics, where an adaptive law with guaranteed convergence is introduced. We first revisit the standard MRAC system and analyze the tracking error bound by using L2‐norm and Cauchy‐Schwartz inequality. Based on this analysis, we suggest a feasible way to compensate the undesired transient dynamics induced by the gradient descent–based adaptive laws subject to sluggish convergence or even parameter drift. Then, a modified adaptive law with an alternative leakage term containing the parameter estimation error is developed. With this adaptive law, the convergence of both the estimation error and tracking error can be proved simultaneously. This enhanced convergence property can contribute to deriving smoother control signal and improved control response. Moreover, this paper provides a simple and numerically feasible approach to online verify the well‐known persistent excitation condition by testing the positive definiteness of an introduced auxiliary matrix. Comparative simulations based on a benchmark 3‐DOF helicopter model are given to validate the effectiveness of the proposed MRAC approach and show the improved performance over several other MRAC schemes. 相似文献

This paper characterizes stress levels via a self‐similarity analysis of the electrodermal activity (EDA) collected in a real‐world driving context. To characterize the EDA richness over scales, the fractional Brownian motion (FBM) process and its corresponding exponent H, estimated via a wavelet‐based approach, are used. Specifically, an automatic scale range selection is proposed in order to detect the linearity in a log scale diagram. The procedure is applied to the EDA signals, from the open database drivedb, originally captured on the foot and the hand of the drivers during a real‐world driving experiment, designed to evoke different levels of arousal and stress. The estimated Hurst exponent H offers a distinction in stress levels when driving in highway versus city, with a reference to restful state of minimal stress level. Specifically, the estimated H values tend to decrease when the driving environmental complexity increases. In addition, the estimated H values on the foot EDA signals allow a better characterization of the driving task than that of hand EDA. The self‐similarity analysis was applied to various physiological signals in literature but not to the EDA so far, a signal which was found to correlate most with human affect. The proposed analysis could be useful in real‐time monitoring of stress levels in urban driving spaces, among other applications. 相似文献
